Thermal transfer ribbon is also called TTO ribbon.
Mainly used for LINX, VIDEOJET, MARKEM, DOMINO TTO printers to print the date, batch number, time format, font and barcode in the pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries.
In order to adapt to different printing materials and durability requirements, thermal transfer ribbons can be divided into waxes, wax resins, and resins according to different coatings.
a) WAX: Usually with high density and high sensitivity, paper labels can be used to obtain good printing results and cost savings.
Universal wax-based thermal transfer ribbons are suitable for most thermal transfer printers and provide excellent print density and clarity with low energy consumption.
The printing speed can reach 200mm/s. Heat resistance: 100°C, printing materials: coated paper, coated paper, melting point: 65°C. The printing speed of the enhanced wax thermal transfer ribbon is up to 250mm/s. Melting point: 80°C.
b) Wax resin: printing effect and durability, wide application range, good price and efficiency.
WAX RESIN ribbon is very sensitive: it consumes less and delays the life of the print head. Heat resistance: 100℃, printing speed: 250mm/s, printing materials: coated paper, coated paper, PVC, PET, PE, PP and other flexible packaging films such as biscuits, bread, wet tissues, Chinese medicine decoctions, etc.
c) Resin: printing durability, abrasion resistance, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, some formulas can prevent steam pressure, some can be cleaned or dry-cleaned.
The enhanced resin-based thermal transfer ribbon is suitable for flat-head print heads, and the printing speed can reach 200mm/s under low energy consumption. The printing resolution can reach 200DPI to 300DPI. Heat resistance: 100°C, printing speed: 200mm/s, printing materials: PVC, PET, PE, PP, such as frozen food, cold food (frozen dumplings), fresh vegetables, milk powder, medicine infusion bags and other flexible packaging films.
Range of use: Mainly used for thermal transfer printers, such as Markem, Linx, Vidojet and Domino.
It has excellent stain resistance and scratch resistance, and can provide perfect printing results.
