Scratch: The long-term movement of the ribbon (carbon ribbon) through the zebra barcode print head will wear the protective layer of the ceramic coating, which will expose the needles (dots) of the zebra barcode print head and eventually damage it. 2. Wear and tear: In order to avoid (reduce) wear and tear, it is necessary to clean the barcode print head frequently. If it is used every day, we can clean and maintain the print head with alcohol after printing a roll of ribbon (ribbon). At the same time, during the printing process, the width of the ribbon (carbon ribbon) must be greater than the width of the label paper to avoid exposing the print head to wear and scratches from the label paper.
3. The back of the ribbon is dirty: During the printing process of the Zebra printer, the ribbon (carbon ribbon) will leave a lot of powder on the glue stick. If it is not cleaned in time, it will cause damage to the print head. Therefore, the Zebra printer glue stick must be cleaned and maintained regularly.
