What Problems Will Occur After The Bar Code Printer Print Mode Is Switched

There are two printing modes for bar code printers: thermal transfer mode and thermal mode. The former is generally used to print coated paper with ribbon, and the latter is mainly used to print thermal paper. Is it necessary to change the printing material? Do any settings need to be made? Answer: The printing mode of the printer driver also needs to be changed to the corresponding printing mode.

Many times, customers will always change to coated paper and ribbon according to their needs, but forget that the printer driver also needs to be changed to the corresponding mode. What if it does not correspond?

      1. Printing error, the printer lights up red.

      2. The ribbon shaft will not automatically recycle the used ribbon.

Solution: When this happens, it must be the thermal printing method originally used by the barcode printer, and then after replacing the coated paper label and ribbon, the driver's printing method is not modified to the thermal transfer method, which will cause carbon printing when printing. The belt shaft will not automatically recycle used ribbons. At this time, just change the printing mode from thermal to thermal transfer in the driver file of the barcode printer, save the parameter modification, and solve the problem that the ribbon of the barcode printer is not recycled.

Bar code printer malfunctions, in many cases, it will not be due to the hardware problem of the printer, more often it is caused by improper use, so we should have some basic printing principles and common settings of the bar code printer before use. Understand, so that we can really improve work efficiency.
