Potential limits
On very low-surface-energy plastics or oily/contaminated surfaces, water-based adhesives may need a primer or surface treatment to achieve optimum initial tack. Because metallised PP is a film product and can present a lower-energy surface than paper, we strongly recommend adhesion tests on your actual substrate and application environment before full production. If immediate high tack on difficult plastics is essential, alternative adhesives (e.g., hot-melt) can be offered.

Batch testing for adhesion, printability and peel strength is carried out before shipment.
