What is a resin ribbon? Resin Thermal Transfer ribbons are designed for the most demanding applications in need of resistances to mechanical stresses, high or low temperature environments, or even solvents. Best printing receptors for Resin ribbons are: Paper labels: Glossy coated.

This is the best ribbon for extreme environments where high quality images and resistance against scratch, smudge, heat, liquid or chemicals is required. Resin ribbons are usually used with synthetic labels, they do not print well on paper labels.

These ribbons offer low print head energy requirements by allowing the user to reduce heat settings and extend print head life. Furthermore, the ribbons provide excellent print quality and long service life. There are two varieties developed in the ribbons; Thermal Transfer special Resin Ribbons suitable for Textile wash care application and Nylon Tafeta.
